Suggest Treatment For Frequent Migraine Headaches

Hi, I have been suffering migraine headaches since the 4th of September. I have been to my local Dr and I have been prescribed imagrin and tramadol. I have also had a maxalon infusion and morphine. I have notice that the top of my head is very sensitive, when my masseur pushed on it during a massage the pain in my temple increased. Is there a gland or something in my head that my be causing my headaches and migraines ?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting with your health concern and after reviewing your case history I'm of the following opinion:
1. Most headaches in general practice are ordinary tension headaches and need just an analgesic and maybe a tranquillizer, however in every patient of a headache, one must test the following signs, as routine:

-Check Blood pressure and blood sugar: control them if present.
-Check sinus tenderness, and look for any focus of infection in teeth, tonsils & ears.
-Check tenderness on the nape of neck or pain on neck movements. [for spondylitis].
-Check with an Ophthalmologist [for eye sight].

If there is any neurological sign as a weakness of cranial nerves or limbs, refer for Neurologist's opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Munish Sood,
