Suggest Treatment For Frequent Bowel Movements

Hi, I have been having frequent bowel movements consisting of diarrhea for the past 3 days, usually once every hour or two. All have been very foul smelling odors. More recently theyre smaller amounts of excrement but are greener, fuzzy/algae looking and foul. Any idea on if that is just merely a winter virus or something more? I have had no history with IBS or any irregular bowel movements. Any advice on medications or food practices beyond remaining hydrated?

Hello
i really appreciate your concern
in my opinion you should visit your doctor for stool test to see for a cyst ova or a protozoa

depending upon clinical examination and stool reports you may require a course of antibiotics like metronidazole for definitive cure

if it's persists even after that I would advise you to go for colonoscopy

Have soft diet very easily digestible food
have fresh fruits and vegetables
Avoid fatty fried and junk food
Have yoghurt or curd

hope this addresses your question
good luck
