hi doctor, i am having frequent urgency for stool passing several times a day (4-6).firstly it passes normally but after few minutes its paining near anus area and bleeding with sticky kind of blood.
i am suffering from ulcerative colitis from last 1.5 yrs. sometimes pain in lower stomach. i am taking balacol, azathioprine regularly. my question is when it will end?

consult gastro enterologist.
he would perform colonoscopy to judge the progres of disease,
add tablet cifran tz for infection,
would increase the dose of balacol.
start prednisone orally & or per rectum.
do not worry ,you would be alright soon.
you have to take medicines for ever.
doctor would tapper on steriod slowly.
