Suggest Treatment For Folliculitis And Scabies

I was recently diagnosed with Folliculitis after being diagnosed (Sept 2016)and treated for Scabies. My new doctor doesn t think I ever had Scabies to begin with and started treating me for Folliculitis with TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM USP, 0.1%. 7 DAYS AGO. So far only the itching has subsided. The doctor said I would always have this skin condition and it would reacur. I have not found one article online that stated these facts and this medication is not indicated for this condition. THis medication leaves a waxy residue that leaves my skin feeling slippery when I shower. Therefore, How can the second daily application get through to the skin level for maximum befit. I am very upset over the above facts. Can you help me in any way. Margaret B. Griffin, Georgia. Update: I will pay for an answer to my question...However, I will not pay for an ongoing subscription. Sorry, forget that I asked in the first place. Another reason to conclude that the doctor is right; Ill always have this condition! My friends won t come to my house anymore. They were told by their doctors that I could be contagious!

Ok, scabies is an insect living in the skin througout it's life. There are insectacides for the skin and treatment of all materials that come in contact with the skin also have to be treated BUT, since the scabies HAVE TO HAVE A BODY TO LIVE within 2 days, washing, drying, drycleaning or just leaving the cloth away from someone for an entire long weekend, ends the scabies.

Folliculitis is a bacterial infection of the skin. Generally antibiotics are given.
Folliculitis isn't that contagious. You would have to try hard to rub up against someone to get it. Sure the germs cause it and you can catch them, BUT the same germs are on most surfaces anyway. THe main cause of folliculitis is something that causes the germs on the skin to cause an infection. Shaving, cuts, other breaks in the skin are rather needed for the the development of folliculitis.
Scabies is contagious, but it requires direct skin contact and not subtle contact.
