my 2 month baby has lot of flatulence and poops once in 4-5 days even after giving him lactulose syrup.he cries at times after the feed to release gas..he is completely breast fed.is it ok to use laxative daily? why baby doesn t have bowel movement normaly

Constipation (difficulty doing a poo) can make your child feel poorly. Lactulose is a type of laxative that works by softening the stool (poo). It should help your child to produce a comfortable soft stool that is easy to pass.
