Suggest Treatment For Fifth Metatarsal Fracture On Right Foot

I broke my foot almost 4 weeks ago. It is the fifth metatarsal on my right foot. The break is diagonal and I chipped a good size piece off so I can t put weight on it. I have this burning where it is broke that won t go away. It burns the same if is swollen or not. I am in a cast so ice doesn t help. Any ideas or is this normal?Should I call the doctor tomorrow?

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Burning pain is not good.
2. It could be neural pressure or arterial ischemia.
3. Better meet your doctor once. Hope its nothing, better to have a look.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, here to help again.
