Hi, I had a core needle biopsy done recently....my surgeon said everything was benign but that i had a radial scar and needed to take it out. I went in to discuss findings with her and she showed me the report, which noted
"a focus with stromal hyalinazation and fibrosis that could represent an edge of a radial sclerosing lesion."
In the past, I was diagnosed with a fibroidadenoma as well. I'm wondering if this is indeed a radial scar, and if so, does it really need to come out---or is there some other treatment. what are the chances this could be cancerous?
thank you
