Suggest Treatment For Fever In An Infant

Hi, My daughter is 1 year and 5 months old. She is having high fever with severe cold for 3 days. Doctor prescribed baby gesic drops but she is keep on vomiting when she have this medicine. Again took her hospital then doctor prescribed crocin or P125 (both drops) I tried with crocin but its not that much effective. I am much worried now please suggest best medicine for her as she is struggling for last 3 days

Hello,

It may be due to viral infection. For that you can give syp Acetaminophen after pediatrician consultation. He may require antibiotics as per evaluation. In case of not getting relief he may require complete hemogram, peripheral smear for malaria parasites, dengue NS 1 after consultation. Continue breast feeding. Watch for high grade fever, dehydration symptoms.
