Suggest Treatment For Fever, Headache And Twitching Sensation In Eye

I have body aches low grade fever, chills, headache. My neck hurts, my lymph nodes are swollen but my whole neck hurts to touch and there is a bump on the left side of my neck near esophagus that you can feel under skin and hurts. My esophagus hurts too. I have also been having eye twitching/ spasming on my right eye. All of this has been going on for two week but the fever only the last few days and with that has been chest pain. I do have lupus and asthma.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of fever, headache and twitching sensation in eye which is due to viral infection of body. Normally viral fever go its own in 5-7 days. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to
- maintain proper oral hygiene.

- avoid cold carbonated beverages.

- do warm saline gargles 3 to 4 times a day.

- take ibuprofen one tablet twice daily.

- take soft foods to avoid irritation to the throat.

If symptoms keeps on persisting visit general physician once and get blood tests done and start treatment after thorough examination.
