I had chills and fever (not really high) with overall aches and pain. Skin sensitive to touch. Slightly runny nose with hacking cough. Fever was gone yesterday and started to feel better. Aches gone today without Ibuprofen. Also very tired but that has improved. Now I have a rash that is spreading over my body. I would sort of call it hives. They are red spots about the size of a pencil eraser, slightly raised and they itch. My sister has had similar symptoms but mine seem to be a day or two ahead of hers so she doesn t have the rash yet. Although she has been medicating for what she thought was poison ivy. I also recently started taking omeprazole. I thought maybe the symptoms were from that until I found out she was having similar symptoms. Benedryl tablets helped a little with the itching.
