Suggest Treatment For Fever And Right Sided Abdominal Pain

I have had low grade fever since Tuesday afternoon. from 99.6 to 100.9 It spiked one time yesterday and I had severe chills - almost like seizure. My temp was 102.8. My heart rate also increased to 126. Normal for me is in 60 s or 70 s. I have neck pain, muscle weakness and joint pain. I stay nauseas most of the time. We went to an after hour doctor but there was no infection in my blood so they only have me fluids and zantac. Also my period started Thursday a few days early and today - saturday is seems to be trying to stop. I usually have at least 5 days of it. Right now my temp is 100.9 I have tenderness in my right side below my ribs. I have a lot of belching/ intergestion. After hours clinic said it was probably gall bladder and said it it got worse in the night to go to hospital. When researching on web, it did not have fever with gall bladder.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Gall bladder infections include cholecystitis, abcess, etc. These definately cause fever. Get your liver function tests done to check for jaundice, hepatitis, etc. Liver infections also cause fever.

You also need an ultrasonography of you abdomen to see the gallbladder and liver and pancreas organs and whether they are swollen and whether gallblader contains stones or pus.

I suggest you do not delay till the night. Consult the nearest doctor right now.
