Suggest Treatment For Fever And Loose Stools In A Toddler
Hello doctor, my child is 2 year old and weight is 8 kg. Now he has slight fever in head, stomach. And no fever in leg. Also he is vommiting after taking food. And also do loose motion with Yellow colour but Smell is very very unsmelable. What to do now.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..
As per your complain fever and loose stools in your toddler seems to be due to stomach infection also known as Gastroenteritis that is common in toddlers and kids and it can be cause of fever, loose motions and vomiting..
I would suggest you to consult a Paediatrician and get evaluated and he can advise him to take antibiotics like Metronidazole and Norfloxacin, anti emetics like Ondensarton and fluid replenishment by giving oral rehydration solution can help in faster resolution of the symptoms as well as it will help in easing dehydration and weakness.. Give him ample of rest and a soft light diet..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora..
