Suggest Treatment For Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat And Swollen Tonsil

Hello, I keep having a reoccurring feeling of having something stuck in my throat on my right side. I grabbed a flashlight and and noticed my tonsil on that side is enlarged and a dark purple color. I also tend to have small tonsil stones maybe 2or 3 times a year

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain feeling of something stuck in throat along with swollen and purple Tonsil can be due to Recurring infection of tonsils leading to Tonsillitis and tonsil stones can be a cause for recurring inflammation of tonsils..
In case if there is presence of tonsil stones stuck over tonsils it can also give a feeling of something stuck in throat..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Throat swab culture to look for infection can be diagnostic..
He can advise you antibiotics like Augmentin, anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen and do warm saline gargles and steam inhalation..
Removal of tonsil stones can be done manually..
