Suggest Treatment For Fatigue And Sharp Pain Under The Ribs

I m a 26 year old Caucasian female. Wondering about the possibililty of a mild/silent heart attack that occurred a week prior. My hx includes: Birth-Pulmonary Stenosis, with Balloonoplasty in 1991. Average height of 5 4 weight of 121 lbs. I am a smoker. Not a drinker, I exercise irregularly. Last Cardiology apt was approx. 6 weeks ago, EKG and ECHO came back normal. My symptoms that I experienced: Woke up in the middle of the night, not being able to breathe. I first noticed sharp pain underneath my left breast bone, which was localized. I also experience numbing to the outer portion of my left arm and my pinky finger completely numb. Took two naproxen and laid down. No sweating and after 20 minutes it passed. Felt fine the next day until I was exhausted and napped. Woke up about 2 hours later and felt my rib cage (left and right) has been hit by a blunt object. Although, nothing happened to the area. Just concerned and wanting more possible information. The past week, I ve experience fatigue over a course of days and pale. Also, I have to be honest, I ve had a lot of dental work done over the course of a few months, I haven t taken prescribe 2,000mg of amoxicillin as previously instructed because I was informed by my cardiologist it was no longer necessary.

Hello,

Since you underwent a cardiac procedure as well in the past, this makes you susceptible to valve infections, however your precious came back normal.

I suggest you to visit your cardiologist again and request to look into this matter and redo your ECHO to rule out possible valve infections.

Normal ECG has ruled out the possibility of a heart attack. For more confirmation you can also have a test for cardiac markers which are raised after an attack or an insult on the heart.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
