hello, I am 19 and recently got my whole face thread (sideburns) on Thursday, but now the sides of my face have red bumps on them it feels very stiff rather than smooth which it usually does. My skin is very sensitive to anything I use on it so I have been just applying ice, however, I would like to know how long do you think before all of the redness and bumps go away or will they at all??!!
Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. From your history and description, I understand that you are having a mild reaction to the threading procedure. You could continue to apply ice every few hours. You could also apply a cream containing hydrocortisone twice a day for 3-5 days. The bumps will subside in 3-5 days time. Do not scratch or rub on it as this can further irritate the skin. It is better to avoid threading your face as you have sensitive skin. You could opt for permanent laser hair reduction procedure instead. Hope this helps you. Take care.
