Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

In my opinion the facial pain has nothing to do with any activator in neck or base of skull. Moreover the Vagus nerve in located in side the brain and would not be affected by any such activator. I recommend that you consult an orthopedic surgeon for your pain and take treatment accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
