HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the infection might not be eradicated completely chances of having some residual tissues could be there, now you have to keep taking the given antibiotic, if anti inflammatory drug not included then you have to add this and the best choice is "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, hope this will come around with this, take care and good luck.

Dentist Dr. Kavita Nitish Garg's  Response
Hello
Welcome to HCM
Cellulitis is a space infection and drainage of abscess is must. You have again noticing a swelling might be because some of abscess or infection has left so antibiotics is to prevent that infection and still if swelling doesnt subside then you should take it seriously for the recurrences of celluties and consult your doctor again. It is a severe form if dental infection in which drainage of abscess inside mouth is not there so it spreads in neighbour space. Pencillin is drug of choice
Thank you
