Suggest Treatment For Eye Pain

hi
My age is 26 years.I have severe pain in my head back side of my eyes. my iop is also 22 and 20 mm Hg in left and right eyes respectively. my doctor guesses that i may be suffering from glaucoma. he advised me a eye drop which conatains- Naphazoline hcl , chlorpheniramine maleate , benzalkonium chloride, methyl cellulose. i am confused that whether naphazoline can be taken because it is contraindicated with glaucoma.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that your intraocular pressure is high and this requires evaluation to rule out glaucoma by optic disc examination and visual fields.
Since your intraocular pressure is high you need to start anti glaucoma drugs.
The eye drops you are prescribed contain naphazoline.... is a decongestant and it will not affect intraocular pressure.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
