Suggest Treatment For Eye Pain And Blurred Vision

My friend in her mid 70 s had Cataract Surgery Tuesday, she was having pain in her eye, when she went to her next day visit the surgeon said he had scratched her eye. What needs to be done. She is using the eye drops that she was given. The doctor said it should heal in about 24 hours. She is still having blurred vision and swelling. Is this normal? Thank you for your assistance.
