Suggest Treatment For Extreme Itchiness On The Vagina
my vagina has been itching really bad for a little over a week . a day or two after the itching began , my period started . pads and tampons just irritated my vagina incredibly bad . I have also been going swimming often . the other day my boyfriend and I were dry humping and my vagina felt raw & was very irritated . the morning after I saw that my labia minora was peeling . It s a soft clear scab . I took a warm bath & made a mixture of apple cider vinegar and water . I put that on a paper towel and dabbed it onto it to kill any bacteria . It s the day after & there s slight improvement but not much . Is there any way you can help me solve this problem ?

Most likely diagnosis is bacterial or fungal infection of the vagina via swimming pool water which may have contamination due to inadequate chlorination. Though primary relief can be obtained with apple cider vinegar, I would request definite curative pathway and avoid further complications as well
- Drink more liquids and maintain hydration
- Wear loose, clean, cotton inner wears
- Avoid tight jeans, prolong sitting, long drives
- Do not entertain any type of sex related activities with vagina or anus either in form of dry humping, penetrative sex or even masturbation till complete recovery
- Get prescription of antibiotics as clindamycin with or without metronidazole as per the culture swab report or KOH preparation results; antihistamine as cetrizine; prophylaxis basis fluconazole (200 mg) single dose at night for 2 days
- Local application of miconazole (2% cream) 3-4 times a day
