General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank You for the query at HealthcareMagic

Levaquin is an excellent choice in the treatment of Epididymitis.
The decrease in engorgement of testicles is normal and is an indication that infection is subsiding.
Levaquin does not cause muscle tightening. It can cause muscle pain, joint pain due to tendonitis. If any such symptoms develop follow-up with your doctor.I'd recommend that you continue Levaquin as prescribed.

Hope I was able to help you
Please address any more concerns
Regards,
Dr.Lekshmi
