Suggest Treatment For Epididymitis With Testicle Pain

Dear.Dr.Srinivasan,

I'm having epididymitis, symptomps including testicle pain, urgency, frequency, pain in my inguinal area...a bout a month ago I was diagnosed for having infection caused by staphylococcus haemolyticus, based on my sperm culture, based on sensitivity test ( the bacteria is resistant to some antibiotics including levofloxacin,cipro.,azythromycin.,tetracycline.,etc )dr. prescribe moxifloxacin 400mg/daily for 21 days, but symptomps getting worse..I'm having more pain..one day after all antibiotic finished did another culture and result came back negative...today just passed a new semen specimen for latest culture..pending result...

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history barring it does not mention the most important thing- your age, marietal status and children you have.

IF you are married and have completed your family the only sure-shot treatment is excision of the epididymis and subject it to histo-pathology reports.
If this is tuberculosis - as is the most common cause, get a 9-month course of anti-tubercular treatment and you will be fine
