General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think you are suffering from Prostatic hyperplasia.
Enlarged prostate obstruct the flow of urine from urethra.
That is the reason for the blood in urine.

Following are the advice for you.
1. Drink plenty of water.
2.But avoid to take fluids before bed.
3. Avoid alcohol and caffeine containing product
4. Void in sitting position
5. You can start drug after consult urologist
- Tamsulosin 4 mg per day, improve urinary flow.
- Finasteridine : decreased DTH level

If medicine unrepods to symptoms and increase in severity of symptoms
- You can plan
Minimal invasive surgery like Transurethral neddle ablation
And Transurethral resection of prostate.

Hope this may help you.
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
