Suggest Treatment For Enlarged Liver

I was told by my Doctor, my liver is elevated, I have stopped drinking for two weeks now, also I don't smoke. I am now on a healthy diet and loosing weight. My next Doctor appointment is in 3 weeks, will I see a change in my blood test??? I'm also taking milkthistle.

There are many causes of liver enlargement and treatment depends on exact cause. if this is caused by diet, obesity and diabetes then dietary and lifestyle changes will be beneficial in every case. Alcohol and viral hepatitis are most common causes and in this case medical evaluation is required.
Also if there is infectious disease or biliary duct disorders then you need to do some tests to rule out more serious issues which require specific medical treatment.
