Suggest Treatment For Ectopic Pregnancy
i had 3 positive hpt on the 3rd 4th and 5th of jan my first day of last menstrual period was 25th of november i had a previous cyst in the ovary which i found out about last november and took progesterone pills for 2 weeks and had my period on the 25th (this is my last menstrual period) i went to the doctor on the 5th day of my period and he told me the cysts are gone.. today i went to the dr for an us according to calculations i must be 6w1d but she said she cant see anything just thickened endometrial lining and no cycts in the ovary, left ovary has pco (which the doctor has told me about before). am i pregnant or not? and how can u rule out ectopic pregnancy? she couldnt see anything on the us not even in the tubes??

hi,in your case it could be late conception as well.i would like to suggest you to take serial b hcg estimations 48 hours apart.if the rate of rise is more than 66% in 48 hours it is viable pregnancy and not ectopic and if rate of rise is less it raises the suspicion.then you could go for a trans vaginal scan with carefully inspecting the adnexa as well.but in all likelihood it would be late conception as you also have pcos.dont worry all the best take care.
