Suggest Treatment For Ear Pain
i have had VERY PAINFUL shooting in my right ear don't have a cold, just a very little drainage. its going on 24 hrs and i have actually screamed many times i took 2 sedated and 2 tylenol they have not helped at all. this has happened before but never this severe. should i go to the er?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sharp ear pain along with little drainage which could be due to ear infection. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures.
- You should take antibiotic Ciprofloxacin you are not allergic to it along with Ibuprofen and Loratadine.
- Put Otogesic ear drops 2-3 times a day.
- Take proper rest.
- Try to avoid excessive use of mobile as it will put more pressure.
If symptoms keeps on persisting you should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. Get all the lab tests done for proper examination.
