Suggest treatment for ear infections

I ve had 2 ear infections in the past 6 weeks, both treated with a 10 day antibiotic (amoxicillin) prescription. Now, a week after ending the last course of antibiotics i have developed what I think is oral trush and my ear infection seems to have come back too. Could my ear infection be fungal and are there any over the counter medicines? I can t really go back to the clinic because they charge 100 a visit since i don t have insurance here and I don t have the money. (age 23, female, 130 lbs, 5 2, no illnesses or meds except for the antibiotics)

Ear infections are difficult to treat as it becomes chronic if not followed up regularly. So, please take the following precautions/medications for relief,
a. A course of antibiotics belonging to macrolide group
b. An anti-histaminic medication
c. Keep ear clean and dry always
d. Gargling and plenty of fluids whenever you get upper respiratory tract infection
It is possible that the infection may be due to fungus, but it is difficult to tell without examination. So, please visit your doctor for physical examination and further management.
All the best.
