Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection Involving Nerves

I wish but I can't afford to ;(. I woke up yesterday morn with my left ear lobe and ear swollen. In 07 both of my ears got infected with resulted in a double tubal. The infections went into the nerves on the right side leaving me looking like I had a stroke! The left side however wasn't as bad. I don't wear earrings very often but when I do, they're quality. I am for the first time in years suffering from allergies, maybe that's the culprit?

Hello,

What are your symptoms? Feeling any fatigue, hearing loss, headache, tinnitus or discharge etcetera. If nerves involved then hearing may diminished and present with tinnitus or vertigo.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your ENT specialist so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
