Suggest Treatment For Ear Ache And Nostril Congestion

Hi I just developed left ear ache and experiencing pain when openning my mouth. Prior to that, I have flu followed by strong cough associated with head ache and watery eyes. I've been blowing my nose too hard by blocking one nostril and blowing the other and then vise versa. Currently I cant concentrate on what im doing because of left ear ache and blocked nose. what would be my remedies, can you help me?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you had flu has led to sinus infection that is causing blocked nostrils as well as infection in ear leading to pain..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluation along with investigations like Throat swab culture, otoscopy, nasal endoscopy etc depending upon the suspected cause and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As of now you can take decongestant nasal sprays like Otrivin, nasivion,saline irrigations of nostrils, do seam inhalations, warm saline gargles and avoid chilled foods..
You can use antibiotic ear drops..
Sip on plenty of warm water throughout the day..
