Suggest Treatment For Eales Disease
I am undergoing treatment of Eales disease. I consulted with an eye doctor and he used laser therapy also. He told me that it might be related to TB infection in my blood. I was asked to do quantiferon gold test. So I did it and the result was positive. After that I was asked to consult a physician. The physician after examination, prescribed me four medicines R-cinex 300/450(for 6 months), PZA Ciba 500(for 2 months) and wysolone(1 month in reducing method after every week). I am taking R-cinex capsule in the morning in empty stomach as told by the doctor. I want to know whether there will be any other problem in taking it in empty stomach. After taking it, urine also get orange colour. Is it normal or not?

You are suffering from Eales disease.It is a recurrent reading disorder and gradual deminision of vision.Now as it is linked to T.B.and they have already started anti tubercular treatment,you should continue them as you have been advised.As instructed to take rifamticin in empty stomach,is correct.For proper absorpion of drug it is preferable to take in empty stomach.They have also adviced steroid which should be tappered.Eye conditon is to be reviewed by fundus examination for record of vision.The best treatment has been advised.
