Suggest Treatment For Dyspnea On Exertion And Hemoptysis, With Negative TB Test

I am a 21-year-old female (non-smoker). I have had a dry cough for about a year, increased fatigue, tachycardia and dyspnea on exertion. A few days ago I got a slight cold, nothing too bad. But the cough got worse, and I had an episode of hemoptysis (no mucus, just bright red blood) and some chest pain. I tested negative for TB about a month ago. What could this be?

Hello,

A CECT thorax is required to look for any lung-related issues. Dyspnoea on exertion is a symptom of heart-related problems. An echo test may be required for further assessment. Consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
