Suggest Treatment For Dull Ache On Arm

My right arm has a dull ache starting at the elbow to the top of my arm. It feels slightly tingly and I have a cold sensation. I m currently taking steroids to see if this helps and am down to 2 today and 1 tomorrow. Still feels the same as when I went to the doctor. Any advice? Heart disease in my family / parents died at young age. I m 69 yrs. old.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I have studied your case and I can assure you that it is not related to heart problem. There are two possibilities. Either it can be cervical spondylitis due to nerve compression you are feeling such tingling and numbness in the hand. other cause can be nerve compression around shoulder joint.
I would recommend you to show it to orthopaedic surgeon and get EMG/NCV report so that we can come to know where is this nerve compression is taking place. I would also suggest you to take Pregabalin and Methylcobal tablet for pain relief. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions.
thanks.
