Suggest Treatment For Dryness And Burning Sensation In The Lips

Hi I am having an issue with my lips..... approximately 2-3 weeks ago they started getting really dry and it progressed to the point of being sore, burning at times and now peeling, red and somewhat swollen... my tongue is sensitive at times and my eyes are dry. I started taking B2 as I have celiac and think I may be dehydrated. Any other suggestions what I can do?

Hello, from what you have described, you seem to have exfoliative cheilitis, it has various causes, dry weather, nutritional deficiencies are amongst a few. Since, you also have celiac disease, i would adv you to continue Vit B2 SUPPLEMENTS like cap Zevit 1 cap daily, apply a lip care like blistex lip care after washing your lips with plain water twice daily, take plenty of fluids and don't lick your lips ( as it takes away the moisture).
I hope you will find this helpful
