Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

I agree with your doctor about the scan. The fact is that you probably have a gastroenteritis after your non veg meals. It is quite common to have loosestools and abdominal cramps in people after a non veg diet, especially if not well prepared. This causes you to get dehydrated. Further, you did not have breakfast, and I am thus guessing, you did not have much fluid either.

Together, the episode must have caused you a lot of dehydration. When you have dehydration, blood pressure may fall and therefore you feel faint . Thats why you should have plenty of fluids, with electrolytes. Watch your fluid intake and electrolyte intake.

If loosestools persist, let us know and we may be able to suggest some antibiotics. You can also get a cbc tested.

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.

Please do understand that some details could be extracted from a detailed history and examination.

Please feel free to ask another query. I would be glad to help you. Looking forward to your return query with the details asked so that I can help you further.
