Suggest Treatment For Double Vision After Reconstructive Eye Socket Surgery

Hi, i was in a automobile accident in 2009 that caused orbital fracture. I had to have surgery to rebuild my eye socket with four titanium plates but now i have headaches between my eyes everyday, double vision when driving, my left eye stays watery runs down my face but i was told by the doctor who did the surgery thats ok but try not to focus so hard that would get rid of the double vision but i am afraid to drive because one day i might cause a accident should i try a second opinion. But do not know where to start or does that sound right?

Hello
Welcome to health care magic

I reviewed your history. Double vision after eye socket reconstruction surgery indicates probable injury to the extra ocular muscles or nerves supplying the muscles.
If this does not recover by 3 months you need to consult your doctor.

Thank you
