Suggest Treatment For Dizziness , Nausea And Cold Sweats

I am dizzy with some cold sweats and nausea when I am in a horizontal position. Wit started a few nights ago As I was getting up to pee at 3:00 am when I came back to bed I almost passed out as the room felt it was turning. It was worse when I turned on my right side. Next morning I took my blood pressure and it was. Fine 117/80 This morning when i woke up the same happened while I was still in bed. It was better when I got up and it came back as I was taking a shower cleaning the shower glass from top to button was causing nausea when my head was lower to the ground. I m on Lipitor 10 mg , Norvasc 7.5 mg and Flomax 4 mg for the the past few years Exercise on the threadmill 3.5 mph 10 degrees for 30 minutes a day every day 5 6 175 lbs good eating habits mostly sedentary job sitting in the car or in my office for 8 hrs Later in the day the dizziness is gone yesterday and today.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of dizziness,cold sweats and nausea started a few nights ago when you had visited bathroom for urination and came back to bedroom.
The room was spinning around and got worse by turning on right side.
You are taking the medicines: Lipitor 10 mg , Norvasc 7.5 mg and Flomax 4 mg for the the past few years, have sedentary job but exercise regualrly.
The medicines can not really cause such a problems except Flomax but not so late after 2 years.
This must have been due to one of the following reasons:
Vestibulitis which in turn can be due viral infection or disturbance in the fluid balance of the semicircular canals.
Cervical spondilitis
Vertebro-cerebral insufficiency
There is not much to worry about as the attack has passed of.
If there is repeat of the symptoms, consult an ENT Surgeon or Neurologist to get a clinical evaluation and further treatment.
