Suggest Treatment For Diverticulitis Infection And Numbness In Thighs

I was prescribed levaquin for a diverticulitis infection and had severe numbness in both thighs to the point of pain, almost a no circulatory kind of pain. This occurred when hospitalized but I never said anything because I thought it was due to bed rest and a previous herniated disk.

Hi,
If you have diagnosed with diverticulitis then,

You must undergo routine blood count, electrolytes with clinical examination of abdomen or ultrasound of abdomen.

You will require antibiotics(quinolones or cephalosporins or antiprotozoals etc.) with antiemetic, antispasmodics and antiinflammatories with prebiotics and probiotics.

There will be great need of fluid and electrolyte balance in body.

You must consult physician for immediate treatment.

Thanks
