Suggest Treatment For Disordered Proliferative Endometrium

I ve been diagnosed with disordered proliferative endometrium benign. I am post menopausal and recently had an ultrasound. My endometrium measured 1.7cm and I have PCOS and previously had a 5lb ovarian cyst removed (6 years ago). How serious is this condition and what is the recommended treatment?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Disordered proliferative endometrium is a benign condition which occurs due to imbalance in hormones.
The condition is not serious and it does not require any treatment.
Since, you are post-menopausal a regular follow up is required.
The endometrium thickness of 1.7 mm in post-menopausal age group is more than what it should be for this age.
Follow up ultrasound can be done to monitor the thickness of the endometrium.
In case of any increase in thickness, an endometrial biopsy or curettage should be repeated.
Any abnormal bleeding should also be reported.
At this moment, with disorder proliferative endometrium, nothing needs to be done.

Thanks and take care
