Suggest Treatment For Dislocated Mirena In Vagina

I have a mirena.. IV had it for like 4 yrs.. Here recently I went to tha dr to see if they could see it and they couldn t find it.. Well now after having sex w my partner it feels like I can feel the bottom of it on the left side of my vagina when I pee.. It doesn t burn but it hurts.. What shuld I do?..

hii..
after going through your question, it is my understanding that your mirena IUCD (intra uterine contraceptive device) might have got displaced. this is very common so do not worry about it. If i were your treating doctor i would have asked you to get an ultrasound scan which shows the position of your Mirena. if it is displaced, it can be removed and new one can be inserted again. If the mirena is in correct position, then u need not worry about anything.. so it would be better to get a scan first. hope my answer helped. have a good health.
