Suggest Treatment For Discoloration Of Lips

My top lip is typically darker than than the lower lip (I have a darker skin tone). Recently, I have noticed the top left of my lip getting a bit lighter than the rest of that top lip. The shade difference is becoming more noticeable so I m getting concerned. Any ideas what it is?

Hi

Since you are noticing a loss of pigment from your lip ,it is important to look into the exact cause .
Such a loss of pigment can occur after healing of any skin lesions or any trauma.
It could also be suggestive of vitiligo which is a disorder in which there is loss of normal skin pigmentation.
So my advise would be that you should see a nearby dermatologist soon for proper assessment.
