Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Swallowing And Bad Breath

Hi,
I've been getting this pussy bad taste at the back of my throat and it gets hard to to swallow sometimes. The food would get stuck at the top and I'd need to drink heaps of water to try push the food down but in the mean time I feel I'm choking this is very stressful as I feel one day it won't go down and I could choke to death.
I'm also having bad breath not sure if the two are related I also have very bad sinus my nose is always blocked.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that pus taste at the back of throat that seems to be due to post nasal drip along with choking and bad breath with blocked nose are all appearing to be due to Sinus infection or sinusitis..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like PNS view x ray or MRI scan can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, decongestants like Pseudoephadrine, do saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation and use a humidifier in your room..
You can also be advised decongestant nasal sprays containing Xylometazoline or Oxymetazoline..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods..
Do warm compresses around nostrils..
