Suggest Treatment For Difficulty In Opening Eye Lids

hello, i am 23 and 164cm and 123lbs, no medical history. i have a problem with my eye lips. I have a hard time to open my eyes and some doctor said that the mucle inside my eye lips didn't develop well, so it cannot work well. That's why it is hard to open my eyes when I do this. I can open my eyes partly, but not whole. Most of the time I even need the muscle in my other parts of face to open my eyes bigger. I wanna know is there any treatment about this?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

Difficulty in opening the eyes could be due to partial ptosis. It can be treated with surgery and is best done by an oculoplasty surgeon( an ophthalmologist with additional qualifications to treat such cases).

The type of surgery required can only be decided after a thorough eye exam is done. The results are usually good.

Regards
