hi i have problem in respiration for past few years. i sneeze a lot and i have a flowing nose throughout the year. i feel very uneasy and find it difficult to respire. i find comfortable while sitting. there is some noise while respiring. i have consulted alot of doctors but it hasnt been cured. i find it difficultt to walk when such an attack takes place. I take inhaler almost every day. it gives temporary relief. My chest x ray shows broncho vascular markings. Plz suggest for my total cure.
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having asthma. Since you are having sneezing, running nose, breathing difficulties, noisy respiration (wheez) all these symptoms favours allergic cause and most probably bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis. And same allergen must be responsible for this. So consult pulmonologist first and get done PFT (Pulmonary Function Test) for the diagnosis of Asthma. Treatment for your symptoms is 1. Identificationof allergenand complete avoidance of it. This is basic thing neededin your case. 2. Inhaled bronchodilator in the form of meter dose inhalers containing long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA) and Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS). 3.nasal spray Containing steroids and newer antihistamines. 4. Oral combination of antihistamines and leukotriene receptor blocker (anti allergic). So consult pulmonologist and discuss all these.
