last sunday my six yo male son came to me complaining of a stomach ache. He rushed to bathroom where he vomited in the middle of diarrhea. He immediately felt better, eat dinner, showered, and went to bed like normal. Monday morning he vomited at school and was sent home, he slept all day complaining of stomach ache. That night fever reached 104 for a few hours, we were able to bring it down. Since then he has had low grade fever , 99-100, diarrhea has continued, stomach pain has moved from belly button region to lower groin area (pain present on both sides and middle). The fever and pain come in waves, leading me to think virus, but it has been 5 days now. I do not feel that an appendicitis could be the cause only because its been 5 days, but the pain waves seem to be getting worse. I do not have a car or medical insurance and thought it was a virus that would clear up by now, but I am thinking a medical opinion would be a good idea.
