Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea And Loose Stools
From some years i have been going through off and on loose motion or diarrehea. I cant eat from outside been to hospital 2 times due to severe diarrehea too. From some months i am noticing mucous in stool got blood in stool twice when the situation was worse. Now i notice there are black thread or string like structure joined to some ball of mucous . Can u tell me if my situation is serious and what is the cause and treatment

as you are suffering from these symptoms for some years with recent onset new symptoms it is better to invesigate to find the cause . we have to consider inflamatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis or chrons disease. we also need to exclude parasitic infections and more serious pathology such as bowel cancer. it is advisable to doa colonoscopy.also may need to do stool for occult blood, stool full report and stool culture. so please consult a surgeon he will arrange necessary investigations for you including colonoscopy.
