Suggest Treatment For Diabetic Problems

I eat terrible; lots and lots of carbs, wine everyday, butter, you name it and my first A1c was 6.9. I was issued the One touch meter and have been tracking my blood since the diagnosis and it ranges from just over 100 in the am to 130 at the highest during the day, but the average is 110 for the last three weeks. I am 55, 5 3, 160 pounds and my mother has type 2 diabetes. My GP gave me the dreaded diabetic diagnosis. Frankly I would rather have cancer. Please your advice!

Hello,
You must make amends in your diet by avoiding high carb diet, sweets, carbonated and sweetened drinks, junk foods etc.Since your mother is diabetic, there are high chances in you to develop diabetes and this can be avoided by proper diet control and regular aerobic exercises and shedding your weight.
Thanks
