Suggest Treatment For Diabetes

my husband is diabetic and not following his doctors recommendation. He also has a cirrhotic liver (bled from esophageal varices and had them banded last January), has very sore feet, legs and back and is always cold (temperature of 35 celcius). Also suffers from slight diarrhea, drinks from 6 to 9 beers a day with half bottle of wine and smokes. He doesn't want to change anything saying he just can't. His appetite is not what it used to be and his body fat is around 5%. Wait awaits him next?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM
Cirrhosis is a form of endstage liver disease.Once the disease process has started, only it can be delayed but it cannot be reverted back.So the only way is ,you convince and advice your husband to leave his habits of drinking and smoking.
Otherwise there will be rapid progression of the situation, resulting in fatal outcome.
Hope you are satisfied with the answer.
Thank you
