Suggest Treatment For Diabetes

Dear sir I am a type II diabetes from 24 years.During these years my blood sugar level for fasting as well as for postmeal is almost in control by taking only one type of drugs by name GLUCO RED.But since one year my body chemistry has changed as now i have to take multiple drug to make my sugar level under control but it is not getting control for post meal level.my postmeal level condition is always flucating and even by taking drugs regularly with diet control it not assured that i will get my sugar level within limit. But it is not the case for fasting sugar level. It is almost within limit. It is my question to your respectful that can you suggest alternative drugs so that i will be able to manage to control my sugar level within the limit for both fasting and post meal that too with constant level.I am taking three type of drugs 1)GLUCO BAY 50 (TWO TABLETS DALY) 2) XMET SR 1000 (ONE TABLET DALY) AND 3) GLUCO RED 1 AND HALF TABLET DAILY.MY AGE IS 65 THANKS

Hello,
It is a normal phenomenon where a person looses Control of his blood sugar levels after many years and is due to dwindling mass of beta cells in your pancreas.
Although there are still various oral medicines available which can be tried on you but eventually you would require injection insulin only.
Ypu can change GLUCOBAY to VOGLIBOSE .3 mg three times a day.
Start taking metformin 1000mg twice a day instead of once a day.
Instead of glucored you can take SITAGLIPTIN 100 mg daily.
You may add injection lantus in the night.
In my opinion you must consult a endocrinologist for proper evaluation and treatment.
You can discuss the above mentioned medicines with him..
Thanks
