Suggest Treatment For Diabetes

Hi, I want to conceive as soon as possible.but recently I did my normal check up I came to know that I am diabetic patient .I am 28 yrs old .I have a baby boy I.e 4 yrs old I did not start any medicine. I am trying to control it through diet nd exercise. Is this a right way for me.can I conceive like this.i have seedling fibroids also. Just came to know .

Hello welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Actually we have to know your FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report (3 month average sugar levels).
According to that report only your doctor can advice you treatment for diabetes.

If your HBA1c report is more than 6.5 than you have confirmed diabetes because this report is average 3 month sugar report and reliable also. So do this report if you haven't done so far.

Also I advice you to do C - peptide levels to differentiate between type 1 and 2 diabetes.

Diabetes in pregnancy has its own complications. Most of the drugs can not be given in pregnancy. So before conceiving you should know about your diabetes on confirmatory basis.

Meanwhile continue diet control and exercise.
