The common side effects with sizodone can be excessive sleepiness, weight gain, increased salivation, tremors in hands, gastritis. I think he should be thouroughly evaluated by a psychiatrist. Either the earlier diagnosis of Depression and OCD is incorrect or the treatment given is incorrect. For depression and OCD, drugs like sertraline, escitalopram are used and not SIZODONE, until there are accompanying psychotic features. Your friends need appropriate treatment from a psychiatrist.
